Progression vs Non-Progression
Roulette strategies can be broken up into two categories: progression and non-progression. Progression strategies involve making a change to your bet every time a spin has come to an end. The Paroli betting system works in the complete opposite way to the Martingale, and is considered to be safer by expert players. Here, the player doubles their wager every time they land a successful bet, while keeping the bet level during a loss.
This is a good way to make a lot of money quickly if you happen to be on a winning streak, and is mostly used in long-term play, allowing the player to build up enough to push through once the winning streak has come to an end.
